1 Day short course will be held in Fort Worth at Tarrant County College-Trinity Campus Downton on Wednesday, January 22 and then held the next day Thursday, January 23 in Abilene at Hardin Simmons University.

Dr. Pete Holterhoff has almost 30 years of experience interpreting sedimentary systems as an academic and petroleum industry professional. The breadth of his experience ranges from regional depositional systems characterization and risking, through play and prospect reservoir characterization and risking to production – scale reservoir description and trouble shooting. He has worked both siliciclastic and carbonate depositional / reservoir systems over his career, including time in the ExxonMobil URC Carbonate Group as well as teaching and research on Permian Basin carbonates at Texas Tech. He is currently a Senior Advisor (Geology) at Hess Corporation.
